In 2017, there were only 5 states in America that had passed unconstitutional “red flag” gun confiscation laws. At the end of 2018, following the Marjory Stoneman-Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, FL the number with “red flag” laws had climbed to 13 states. We are losing this fight – and losing it fast. The American Psychological Association (APA) has now issued a new report which illustrates exactly why “red flag” laws are not only unjust and invalid – but also a clear and present danger to all legal gun owners.
You’ve probably seen segments about the report on Fox News. The APA has released new guidelines which explain that “traditional masculinity” is harmful to society. The mental health experts have even identified a “masculinity ideology,” which is “a constellation of standards that have held sway over large segments of the population, including: anti-femininity, achievement, eschewal of the appearance of weakness, and adventure, risk and violence.”
What’s that have to do with the price of an AR-15, you ask? Actually, a lot!
We had a big emotional rush for gun control following the Parkland massacre, as we always do after mass shootings. Gun-grabbing tyrants always play on people’s emotions after these events in order to disarm patriotic Americans. The response to Parkland was not to protect kids – it was about disarming you.
(Kind of a side note, but we saw this interesting statistic today: The US now averages 2,000 Americans killed every year by illegal aliens, compared to an average of 22 deaths per year in mass shootings.)
Following the Parkland mass hysteria and accompanying anti-gun media blitz, eight new states rushed to pass “red flag” gun laws. Between the various states, these laws allow courts to issue emergency orders to confiscate a person’s firearms if someone like, for example, a teacher or a bitter ex-husband calls the cops and says they’re “worried” about this person. Even Florida, with a Republican legislature and a Republican governor, rushed to push a “red flag” law through. The claim was that they were going to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous mentally ill people.
So, when the politicians pass these laws to take the guns away from the “mentally ill,” who do they turn to in order to figure out who needs to have their guns taken away? They go to groups like the American Psychological Association.
And the APA says, “Oh, that’s easy: ALL MEN. They suffer from toxic masculinity and impose the patriarchy on everyone else because of their masculinity ideology. Better take all of their guns away if they show any signs of manliness.”
Do you like to drink beer, go fishing and occasionally watch a football or baseball game? You’re banned! Soccer fans are safe, on the other hand.
Red flag confiscation laws are not just a “slippery slope.” They’re more like jumping off the cliff without a parachute. Every law-abiding gun owner should oppose these laws and should call their Representative and Senators to tell them to overturn them.
And ladies, don’t think that you’re off the hook. If the cops show up to take your husband’s guns out of the house because an angry neighbor turned him in as a possible “danger” over of his pro-gun bumper sticker, your guns will be grabbed as well. These seizure laws apply to the whole household.
As we’ve noted previously, these unconstitutional “red flag” laws are already getting innocent people killed. It happened to Gary Willis in Ferndale, Maryland. The SWAT team started pounding on his door at 5:00 in the morning, so he did what any lawful gun owner would do in that situation: He grabbed his gun to answer the knock. He’s dead now.
Gary Willis never committed a crime. The reason he’s dead is because the cops came to his door after his relatives, who thought they were being helpful, turned him and said they thought he was a danger to himself. He wasn’t displaying “traditional masculinity.” He was sound asleep! And then he was dead.
Traditional masculinity isn’t a danger to anyone. Politicized junk science like the APA is putting out, however, is dangerous. If you’re a gun owner and you support “red flag” confiscation laws, we strongly urge you to reconsider your position. That knock on the door at 5:00 a.m. could be at your house next.
This report is a crock. No intelligent psychologist would suggest that men not be men so others would feel better or that society would benefit. This is nothing but another asinine effort by the wackos to undermine men and their traditional roles so that feminists can have a rosy gain for their stupid efforts to reign over America. The real problem is that feminists are not happy with themselves!

Every body is a psychologist, that’s why people take that class in college, easy credits, big joke on campus., Some people make it their major & get a piece of paper that says their opinions are better than yours, that’s a psychologist… If you ever talk to one on the record, you can’t get a weapons permit, concealed or open carry… be careful what you say to any kind of social worker…
Here’s an idea: Let’s ban groups like the APA from making blatantly false and misleading statements like this. Do it again and you lose your license to practice. Simple. Also very effective.

Too bad we can’t RED FLAG the democrats in office as a danger to themselves and the Nation! A lot of lives could be saved!
